Raid’s Best Supports: The 20 Champions Worth Chasing
Support champions win more accounts than flashy nukers ever will. They keep teams alive, control turn order, strip buffs, block debuffs, and create the openings that let damage dealers do their job. In the current meta, the best supports are rarely one-dimensional. The strongest picks often do three things at once: accelerate your team, deny the enemy, and stabilize runs across multiple game modes.
Among the elite, Yumeko stands out as a Void Legendary Support with a massive 60 ACC aura in All Battles. That kind of aura alone makes her easy to slot into progression, but her real value comes from tight control and turn manipulation that can dismantle enemy plans in Arena and waves alike. Marichka the Unbreakable remains one of the most complete safety nets in the game, pairing revives, protection, and strong team utility. If you pulled her, she can carry accounts through content that would otherwise demand several specialist supports.
For players focused on speed-based progress, Odin Faefather is a premium Arena aura holder with 40% SPD in Arena, while Lady Noelle and Mavara the Web Diviner also bring Arena-focused speed auras at 30% and 28% respectively. That matters because in modern Arena, the first turn often decides everything. Shu-Zhen the Valorous remains a classic turn-meter support with 30% SPD in Arena, and Grand Oak Padraig brings a valuable 25% SPD aura in Dungeons, making him especially strong for wave teams and dungeon farming.
Not every great support is built for the same job. Pheidi Tealcrest offers an enormous 80 RES aura in All Battles, which is exceptional for resistance-based PvE teams and anti-control compositions. Queen of Hearts gives 70 ACC in All Battles, a rare and powerful aura for debuff-heavy squads. Venalicia Thrallmother and Riho Bonespear also provide excellent global utility through accuracy and faction-specific value, while Senna Amberheart and Hilvi the Rime-called are the kinds of champions that quietly improve entire rosters with speed and consistency.
For most players, the best support strategy is not to chase every top-tier name. It is to identify what your account lacks. Newer and free-to-play accounts should prioritize champions that solve multiple problems at once: healing, cleansing, speed, revive, or turn-meter control. Endgame and spenders can justify luxury picks like Yumeko, Marichka, or Odin because they dominate specific modes at the highest level.
The bottom line is simple: if your account is missing premium support, your progress slows everywhere. A single great support can unlock faster dungeons, safer Hydra teams, better Arena wins, and smoother Clan Boss performance. In Raid, that is often worth more than another hard-hitting nuker.
