It is a precision tool for champions who convert guaranteed crits into immediate, decisive value.

The first rule is to place it on a champion who does real work even when built aggressively. Nukers are the obvious candidates, but the best users are usually the ones who either act first or protect themselves after the opening swing. High-speed Arena openers, turn-meter manipulators, and champions with built-in self-sustain or defensive utility get the most from it. Think of it as a relic for champions that need to land a critical opening blow before the enemy can punish the extra damage taken.

In practical terms, this relic is strongest on champions like Arbiter, who brings a 30 SPD Arena aura and can help set the tempo of a fight, or Mithrala Lifebane, whose 80 ACC All Battles aura makes her a premium utility slot in mixed content.
