How to Approach a 15x Summon Rush During a Fusion Week
A 15x Summon Rush attached to a fusion window is one of the most tempting event formats in Raid: Shadow Legends. The trap is obvious: the event feels urgent, the 15x banner sounds generous, and the fusion calendar makes every shard feel precious. The right play is not to ask whether the event is exciting. It is to ask whether the featured champions are strong enough to justify spending shards that could be better saved for 2x events, guaranteed summons, or a future fusion.
This week’s spotlight pool is exactly the kind of mixed-value lineup that forces discipline. Tholin Foulbeard is a Legendary Attack champion with a 30 ATK aura in All Battles, which is meaningful for damage-focused teams if you are building around raw output. Tagoar is an Epic Support with a 25% HP aura in All Battles, making him a useful account stabilizer for progression, especially if your roster still needs speed, sustain, and revive-like utility from support pieces. By contrast, Stag Knight remains one of the classic Epic debuffers that early and midgame accounts can use for progression, but his value is no longer tied to chasing him specifically in a risky 15x environment.
That is the core summon-rush lesson: 15x does not mean “likely.” It means “slightly less unlikely” for a small set of champions you may still miss. If your account is early game, the smartest move is usually to keep your shards unless the fusion itself is account-defining. If you are midgame and need Epic utility, a 15x pool can be acceptable, but only when you would be happy with the broader shard outcome even if the headline Legendary does not arrive.
For F2P players, shard budgeting matters more than ever. Chase fusions only when you can complete them without wrecking your reserve for the next 2x Ancient, Void, or Sacred event. For low spenders and whales, the calculation is different: if you already have the fusion secured and can absorb a bad pull streak, 15x can be a premium ticket to roster upgrades.
The best practical rule is simple: pull for the event only if you want the fusion, can tolerate the worst-case result, and would still value the featured pool even if the 15x champion never lands. If not, saving shards is the stronger play.
