Deathdealer Relic Guide: Who Should Use It in 2026
Deathdealer is one of the more dangerous relic choices in Raid: Shadow Legends because it trades safety for raw pressure. Its core appeal is simple: it pushes damage upward by improving crit consistency and offensive output, but the wearer becomes easier to kill. That makes it a high-reward option rather than a universal best-in-slot relic.
What Deathdealer does best
Deathdealer shines on champions who already bring strong burst, extra turns, or self-scaling damage. The relic is most valuable when a champion’s job is to delete a target before the opponent can answer. In practice, that means fast nukers, Arena openers that can convert one turn into a swing, and PvE damage dealers who do not need to tank hits.
The downside matters. If a champion is your only reliable control piece, reviver, or frontline anchor, the extra damage taken can backfire badly. Deathdealer rewards aggressive team building and punishes sloppy positioning.
Best champion profiles
The strongest candidates are classic Attack champions with high multipliers, strong AoE skills, and built-in crit-friendly kits. Champions like Acrizia, Ailil, Alice the Wanderer, Aratheia Corpseflower, Baron, Astralith, and Arnorn the Shining fit the general profile of relic wearers who want more punch. Even when their exact role differs, the principle is the same: put Deathdealer on a champion whose value comes from hitting first and hard.
It is also strong on champions who already sit in glass-cannon builds. If a nuker is built around 100% Crit Rate, high Crit Damage, and enough Speed to take an early turn, Deathdealer can add just enough pressure to secure clean kills. That is especially useful in Live Arena, where a single knockout often decides the round.
F2P and P2W advice
For free-to-play players, Deathdealer is best treated as a specialist relic. Do not force it onto every attacker. Use it on your most reliable finisher, then protect that champion with cleanse, speed control, or a reviver.
For heavy spenders, the relic gets better as your roster deepens. You can afford to pair it with premium supports, books, blessings, and turn-meter manipulation that reduce the risk of the extra damage taken.
Practical rule
Use Deathdealer when your goal is to win faster. Avoid it when your champion needs to survive longer than one exchange. If a fight is decided by tempo, it is excellent. If the fight is decided by endurance, it is a trap.
